Show Seasons is off to a great start!
We are 5 shows into the season and I couldn't be more proud of my riders. They continue to work on the art of riding and individual skill development which is leading to their successes in the ring. What means the most to me however is their sportsmanship and willingness to help each other be the best they can be. I have many girls in the same divisions which can lead to competitiveness that turns negative - but this is not the case. I continue to see them take joy in their own accomplishments and the accomplishments of their teammates. A first place ribbon was won by one of my riders against a ring full of riders two of which were from our own barn - this brought the whole barn to tears with the joy we felt for her - hard work and determination does pay off. You have won - ribbon or not - when you can say I learned something or improved when looking only within - it is all about personal development. My girls are truly a joy to work with!
The barn family we have created is one of positiveness, love, and encouragement. Our riders know that they are supported by our whole team - their trainer, other riders, siblings, parents and extended family. So, thank you for a great start and looking to the show days ahead. :)
